The Bird D'Pot


At the Botanical Gardens last week we came across a little group of juvenile Mallards swimming in a pool near a little waterfall.  They were not friendly, but they were not bothered by our close proximity ... nice arrangement for taking pictures.

It's so much easier getting pics of birds who are used to being around humans. I had a great time taking pictures of water birds at the zoo a couple months ago. You have some great shots here.

Your ducks are adorable! We have these at our park, and I spend lots of afternoons there taking photos. You'll have to tell me how you make that little animated photo. It's fascinating. Hugs, Edna B.
