Pied-billed Grebe

The Pied-billed Grebe is a small bird and, being all of the way across the lake, I had to use my full zoom and then crop them out on PS ... the results are grainy, but hopefully you can see it well enough.

Turkey Vulture

Turkey Vultures are a favorite of mine.  They are social birds amongst themselves and even in captivity.  Once they are habituated to their human handlers, they are friendly and playful.  They are, in their own way, beautiful birds.

The Great White Egret

I haven't seen many egrets in our area for the past several years.  When I do spot one it is usually the Snowy Egret, so to come across a Great White Egret was quite a treat.   Enjoy :)
