 A Yard to Die For ...

Some people just have the talent and taste to creat beauty and wonder in their yards.  This is the home of my friend's hair dresser.  I go out in her yard while my friend gets a haircut ... and I am always amazed.  Each time, something different, something new ... more beautiful than before.

Just A Robin ...
My friend and I, when we walk, catch ourselves saying,"it's just a Robin," when ever we see a bird and are excitedly looking to see what it is.  Just a Robin because we have Robins everywhere.  They seem to be surviving successfully in spite of all of the weather issues.  And now, at this time of year we have Robin fledglings and so there are more Robins.  This is a wonderful thing and we laugh when we say "Just  a Robin" because we both know they are wonderful, sometimes even even comical birds and there will never be too many of them for our liking.  So enjoy ...

I seem to be drawn to the preening bird pictures and this week is no exception.  This time I ran across an adorable little Barn Swallow doing his daily bath ... was he prettying up for the girls, of just being hygienic ... Your guess is as good as mine :)  Enjoy ...
