Wild Bird Wednesday
Eagles in my Back Yard
A young male eagle showed up in my tree with a fish ... our lake is still frozen but, obviously, there are some open water areas where he can hunt.
And now, he is cleaning any scraps he can find off of his feet ...
Ah ha ... arrives an adult female. Are they a pair ... not sure :)
The young male leaves ...
Only to return in a few minutes with another fish ...
Arrives a Juvenile (guessing a female by her size) ...
She too has a fish and proceeds to eat it ...
and feaks her beak when she is finished ...
And now there are three ...
He too has a fish to eat ...
And then there were four ...
There is more to this story ... stay tuned for next weeks post :)

Scribble Picnic
Lets Dance
My parents were wonderful ballroom dancers and when I was knee high to a grasshopper, they taught me to ballroom dance too ... It is the most delightful, enjoyable form of dance to me. Saddly there aren't many dance partners available who can ballroom dance today, so it is becoming a lost art, at least in my life ... But, I love just the memory of it :)Andrea
