Good Fences

This is an interesting fence for many reasons.  First it is at the top of the highest mountain in Europe, Jungfraujock.  We are 11,333 feet above sea level and yes, it took us a little while to acclimate to the "thin air".  But, surprisingly we were fine in short order.  Second, this fence is movable ... moved to where it is needed because it has a very special purpose.

As the sign is telling you ... if you go past this fence, you may fall into a very deep crevice.  One can only imagine how deep and thus nobody goes past the fence.  So it doesn't have to be stable or strong, it just has to show you something you need to know :)  Have a great "Good Fences" Day!

Song-ography

Why does it seem as though the sign is always pointing in the opposite direction than I am going  ... is it me?  Or is the rest of the world going in the wrong direction?    Hmmmm ... Food for thought!

Weekend Reflection

I went out for coffee with my friend yesterday at our favorite Coffee Shop, sat at our favorite table by the window and suddenly realized that there was a beautiful reflection being created right over our heads ...

I loved that along with the reflection we could see the snow covered street out the window ... This meme has opened my eyes to things I may have missed in the past.  I love it!

Mandarin Orange Monday

LorikArt
I had a wonderful Holiday weekend working an agility trial and then on Monday running my dog in another agility trial.  So, I am a bit late putting this post together ... Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday weekend (or just weekend, as the case may be).
One of the stores in my community owns this car ... it is so funny, I had to make a little cartoon out of it(read the license plate).  They sell costumes, jokes and magic tricks among other things so it all just fit.
These were on the shelf at Julie's Coffee Shop, which is probably my favorite place to go.  I used a texture and a background to give it a little umph ... hope you like it.
