This song-ography allowed me to step out of the fast paced, stressful parts of my life and  focus on what is important to me.  My family and friends  are what drives me to be who I am and to do what I do.  Oh yes, I have my own inspirations inside that come from my parents and the growing up I did before my  husband and children.  

But my reality, in this moment, is family, friends and, of course our pets.  I prey that my children and my childrens children will live in a world that is safe, peaceful and ... Let freedom ring.

I have been cat sitting for these little cuties for several weeks.  Tomorrow their Mom and Dad will be back ... my joy is for them.  They will be back to lovin' 24/7 again and they soooo deserve it :)

I have but one rather strange submission this week.  I have been experimenting with a new art form that I ran across on a group of other blogs ... that of combining different species and a bit of fantasy ... I am not sure I am thrilled with the over all, but I like some of the individual players.  Just for fun ...Happy MOM :)

Da Boyz

Most of you have meet my not so little brothers, but for those of you who haven't, this is Chachi, the spokesperson for the entire Animal Kingdom (His favorite platform being food) and Fonzi, King of the Beasts.  Fonzi is the Alpha of all of my pets(including my dog, Izzi) and probably the most patient and loving cat I have ever had.  We, of course, love them both to pieces.

Did you know there are movies for your cat?  I didn't until someone gave me this one ... all it is, is bugs walking across the TV screen.  But ... I guess that is all that is needed :)

My Boys are lovers ... not a mean bone in their bodies.  When we were dog sitting a little Yorkie named Big Mack, they all played together constantly.  The boys would even discipline Big Mack when he got too wild, the same way that their mother did when they were wild.  It was so fun to watch.  I am sure that Big Mac left here every day thinking he was just another cat in a cat pack :)

The play was rough, but Big Mack never got even a scratch on him.  They all loved it!  Pets are such a source of joy ...

These are both using the mask/brush technique.  I really love this technique and the results I get. That said, I am hoping next year, when the holiday madness settles, I will be able to learn some new techniques.  Meanwhile ... enjoy :)
