NF Inspiring Photography ... Catching The Light


A bit of a stormy day and the skies had cleared in the west allowing the setting sun to shine on the trees and houses across the lake ... I took this with my phone because, when this happens, it seems to come and go quickly and I didn't want to risk missing it ...

I love the last image, with the tree trunks framing the golden leaves and the big house!!!
It seems to me that moments like this make the colours even more intense!!!

You are lucky to live by a lake...we are going spend time near a lake in the holidays. You also were lucky to have your phone with you..such a dramatic sight - golden trees against black skies. We don't have such a distinctive autumn here...
