Good Fences

On our way to spend a few days with the youngest brother of the family we were visiting, we stopped to view the Lungern Town Lake ... this is clearly a famous lake as there were many people who stopped to take pictures.  The color of the lake alone is delicious and I promise to have more beautiful shots of the whole view (sans fence) at another time.  This is technically not a fence, but a railing ... but I am not going to quibble :)

I think it's a GREAT 'fence' picture...afterall, it's 'fencing' out people.

LOVE the color indeed. Wow...like the Caribbean Sea Turquoise.

Oh, and ps....I would have really enjoyed your mother's part as Dorothy. Bet it was very entertaining!

She was a wonderful Dorothy and she received bags full of fan mail from people all over who had seen the production. Of course that made me a seconday celeb (I think I was 10 at the time) which was great fun. My Mother was a wonderful, funny, talented person who I miss every day of my life. Thanks for your comment, Hootin' Annie ...

I agree, the color of the water is so beautiful, just like in the Caribbean. This is definitely a "fence' of sorts. I thought your abstract was quite interesting. I've often wondered the same thing about how it would be to see a bird out the plane window. However, it probably wouldn't be so good for the bird, so it's okay that I don't see any birds when I'm travelling in a plane. (On my broom, that's another story altogether! I see lots of birds.)

The rain has let up a bit here, but it is still gray and cool. Pogo and I are going out in a while to do an errand. The weatherman is promising us a bit of sunshine for tomorrow. I surely hope he's right. Now it's time for me to get busy here. You and Izzi have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B.

Fence, rock wall, railing, who cares? It is a great scene. Thank you for visiting my Vernal Falls Good Fence. As to your comment, that write-up I linked to my post did relate one incident that was a possible suicide.
