Good Fences

This is a common gate in these parts, but the view behind it is not.  Wouldn't you love to have this lane leading up to your secluded house?  I took this last week ... note that the leaves are just beginning to turn.  Our trees seem to be the last to know it is fall :)

What a pretty scene. Our leaves are turning colors now, and the trees are so beautiful. This is the best part of Autumn. Andrea, I love your abstract. It's really quite amazing how you can turn a seed pod into something so beautiful.

I must admit I have not done much on my computer this year as I've spent most of my spare time crocheting. The thing I miss most is gadding about with my camera. Pogo and I will have to get out soon to take some new photos.

These past few days, Pogo has been having a grand time sitting in front of the door and barking at the squirrels who come looking for the bird seed. Of course, he also lets me know if anyone comes into our yard. Gosh, he's better than a doorbell.

That said, it's time to rustle up some lunch. He's been sitting patiently by my side waiting for me to go in the kitchen and cook us up something tasty. So, off I go. You and Izzi have a fabulous weekend. Hugs ,Edna B.
