As "blink" was an almost impossible prompt, I thought I would add some more pictures from Spring in the Arboretum :)
Things seem to go from bad to worse here in the USA ... I don't know if our country will even be recognizable at the end of it's 4 year term. All I ask is that you all be patient with us. He does not represent the ideas or feelings of the American people. We have anti-Trump demonstrations all across the country every day. and we are all hoping that if we can regain control of congress in 2026, we will be able to impeach him ... fingers crossed. Meanwhile, I hope you are all enjoying a refreshing Spring.

Your spring and your arboretum are glorious. Where photography is concerned I often have those 'blink and you will miss it moments'. I do blink and I do miss the shot.
It truly puzzles many of us in the rest of the world that if he does not represent the ideas or sentiments of the American people, how did he get elected with control of all the levers of power, having been very explicit in his campaign as to what he would do, and having already served four years - so there were no surprises. And the Democratic Party seems to have faded away to oblivion, without a leader or a clear purpose.
Good question, David ... There is a portion of our population that seems to have lost it's way. I really can't explain why, but it is concerning. Even his followers are turning on him because of all of the horrible things he has done. I guess they didn't believe he would actually to those things he talked about or they didn't think about how horrible it would be if he did them. I am at a loss ... can't explain it, don't understand it and I hate what is happening. I am counting on a democratic turnover in the 2026 elections ... and yes, you are right the Dems have faded and they are struggling with what the answers are and who can lead them. A sad state of affairs ...
