Photo Art Friday

Somehow, in my mind, I thought I wanted to make something bazaar ... wild and crazy!  But,  I never seemed to get there.  I would find something that satisfied me before I made it to the "wild and crazy".  So what I am posting here today is Abstract,  but much more subtle than I had planned.  Maybe next time :) (Click on them to get a better view)

OMG. Help me pick my jaw up off of the floor!!! Such incredible edits in such a variety of abstract styles! Impressive, Andrea. If I had to name preferences it would be #1, #4 and the last one.

That's so funny - you get to beautiful, so you never go on to wild and crazy. I think your last one sits on the border of incredibly beautiful and wild and crazy. :)

HI Andrea Firstly thanks for the answer to my question on your last post. Now these are superb. I love no 3, I think it is the inside of a flower perhaps a Tulip? of course I am in awe as to how you do all these. I do wish I had a few ore days in the week!!! I am back from the I.O.W.now and trying to get the posts made from that trip as I go back again in about 10 days and I don't think they will be all completed by then!! My friend Eileen and I when I was on the I.O.W. tried our hand at layering and added a texture to a photo. I would have to do this many more times before it became natural to me and just now I do not have the time.

Thank you Margaret ... I would be interested in it. I will look for it here and let you know if I find it. I wish I could sit down with you and work with you on the layering and texturing. You are so good at photography, I have no doubt that you have the artistic bent to make great photo art. Sometime when you have time ... just dabble. That is how I did it and still do it. It has to be fun if it is going to work.

Oh my gosh so many great abstracts here. How to pick a favorite....very hard. I really liked #1, 3 & 8 for different reasons. You did an awesome job with all of these.

I rather like number 3!

I am finally back home after a very (long!) flight! I am not in much of a state to make intelligent comment at present! Pictures from Arizona will start soon - and I will keep your tour guide offer in mind!

As you know, I am not a fan of abstract in any form. I like things as they are. However, these are all beautiful. Bill especially liked the poppy and fox glove, of course.

How on earth can I choose? The cone flowers and the foxglove, amazing but the last one...Incredible. You have inspired me to try harder.

Okay, they're all wonderful. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the first two and then the cone flower. They ended up perfect. Love them. :)

A veritable smorgasbord, Andrea. I think # 3 is pretty wild and crazy and fun and happy. My favourite is #7 with #8 fast on its heels. Delightful visiting here today.

oh Andrea!!! this is exquisite. it is like an entire dance of flowers with so much JOY in them!!! I love them all and especially I love seeing that you had FUN with them. that is really what it is all about, eh?! DOing it, playing, seeing what happens if and when... I could never choose a favourite BEcause as soon as I would call it a favourite I would find another that made me happy, too, and then... so generous of you to give so much of your fiddling to BE enJOYed!!
