Saturday's Critters

As I arrived at my friends house I noticed two deer sunning themselves at the top of the hill.

Then when I drove around and down her driveway, I could see that there were three of them.  Each had chosen a section of the terraced garden and made themselves at home.  She has deer around all of the time, but somehow they seem to be scarce when I arrive with my camera ... so I was enjoying this opportunity :)

Those deers have a great time there, a kind of relax-farm with tanning...

It is that time of year, again. They are more visible! I saw herds of them while trucking with Bill. Not so easy to take pictures at 65 MPH! They are beautiful.

Oh how I recall the deer. When we had the house there was a herd (literally) that lived in the hills behind us and even though they did a lot of damage to my gardens, I still enjoyed watching them....especially the fawns in the spring.

I have been lucky enough to catch a couple of good shots, but the opportunities are few and far between. Lucky you!
