Wild Bird Wednesday
You don't have to go outside to know that it is cold ... cold is visible in a hundred different ways if you look for it. These birds have embraced the cold. They do what they need to do to survive ... so who are we to complain, inside with the furnace going and easy access to food. It puts things in perspective, don't you think? Happy Wild Bird Wednesday everyone :)

You're so right!! I've been watching a lot of our little birds, sitting around all fluffed out and reminding myself just how lucky I am! Great shots for the day! Hope your week is going well, Andrea!!
Oh.....you can see them all puffed up from the cold. Super cute. Soon your cold will be over.
oh, such cute little fluffed up things!
We can learn so much from nature. Not only do they teach us ways to survive, they teach us what we truly need in life...and what we don't. As I always say, animals get it. Good post, my friend.
Andrea, you have a great positive attitude!
They do look cold.
They're so cute all fluffed up. Happy WBW!
Cute variety of birds and photos. They put up with cold much better than wimpy me for sure.
They look so cute all fluffed up!
You gotta keep warm and survive somehow if you are a bird, great shots.
Hi Andrea great shots of these little birds trying to keep warm. I am sure it will warm up soon for you and the birds.
The winter over there has been bad enough for humans, but for some wild life its been a disaster, and when Spring does eventually arrive, I'm sure numbers of some species will have plummeted, sadly.
Take care, Gordon.
Bless them all, how sweet they all are, how brave and beautiful~
Very true indeed!
they're amazing little creatures, how they can endure the cold ... and here, the heat
