Wild Bird Wednesday

Wild Bird Wednesday 28
http://paying-ready-attention-gallery.blogspot.com/

This week I am continuing with my Winter Birds at my feeders.   It is so cold out here this week (-19 wind chill), I worry about them making it.  Extra food and keeping the bird bath full ... then fingers crossed :)

The Blue Jays are exquisite against the stark white background ... I love them even if they are bully birds :)

Stay warm, my little feathered Friends ...

I have about seven of these guys that visit me. I just love their stained glass feather look.
Wonderful shots! I especially like the one with the seed in its mouth. That's a great capture.

Andrea, these are great shots. I too, love the Blue Jays. Their color is awesome, especially against the snow. We have some of them here at our feeder regularly.

We have lots of the tiny birds here too. Gosh, I just can't imagine how they keep warm in this cold weather. But I keep their feeder filled because I know they count on it. We also hang the square suet treats, and I have a big treat bell to put out later when Joe comes home.

This world would be so dismal without our beautiful feathered friends.

You have a fabulous day. Hugs, Edna B.

Blue jays are such characters. I don't know how they survive our super-cold winters! Your photos are great!

Wonderful pictures - the blue and the snow make for a splendid contrast.

I think its bad luck it you shoot an albatross - thats what the Ancient Mariner did.

Cheers and thanks for the link to WBW.
