Our World Tuesday

OMG!

We went to Max's Deli again ... I don't know why we do this to ourselves, but who can resist?

Deli Pickles ...

Butternut squash soup .... yummmm!

And the best of all a Tongue Sandwich ... What?  You don't like tongue?  How can that be ... it's delicious!

Well, it's not like you don't have other choices ...

Even yummy desserts :)

Well I can now see why this deli is so irresistible. And yes, my aunt Mary could make the best tongue sandwiches. I haven't had them since she passed away a few years back. Now I'm gonna have to write my cousin to see if there is a recipe for her special way. Delicious. That soup, I wouldn't be able to pass that up either. Yum.

Tongue? No. I even won a rare food battle with my father on the subject when I refused to eat something I could feel tasting me as I was tasting it.
Cheeses and olives though...

Ooh, those pickles made my mouth water! And the soup, salads, cheese, breads, and cookies look delicious, too, but not the meat - I'm a vegan. But, it's after ten p.m. at night here, so I guess I'm just going to have to supress my deli cravings until tomorrow!

Blessings,

Victoria

Gosh, everything looks so delicious! No, I don't want the tongue sandwich. You can keep it all for yourself. But the rest of the food looks just so yummy!!

I love the crane photos. It's sad what the weather is doing to them. I hope this isn't going to be happening every year now. Our beautiful birds won't be lasting for very long. Gosh, it makes me sad just to think about it. I've just read an article in the newspaper about the effects of the weather and climate changes, and it was just soooo depressing. Maybe it's good that I'm already old.

I'm going to work on some crocheting for a bit while my Pogo rests from his night of chasing floor and wall creaks. This old house gets a bit creaky when the wind howls like it has all night and morning.. You have a wonderful day. Woofs and licks to Izzi from Pogo. Hugs, Edna B.

I love your reponse (too bad, too late ... they are all gone) just as I loved the picture of your adorable dog and your beautiful wife. Thanks for stopping by, Woody.

Hmmm ... hadn't thought of it that way. But you will never convince me, I love it anyway ... a taste for a taste :)

Now that looks like my kind of a place to eat. Not sure I'd try "tongue" though. Sorry about your snow, we've got rain.
