RIDICULOUS ...

Ridiculous, thats my words for this days.  Halloweens, whatever that means to you, means stupid costumes to me.  Do I looks like someones who wants to be a bunnys?  Every years we goes through this ... my Moms just doesn't gets it.  Halloweens is a peoples holidays ... dogs can't eats candys so theres no reasons to includes us in your funs.  I betters gets some good treats for this gigs ...

Trying to get in the mood ... it is damp and cold out and there are very few Halloween decorations, at least not yet.  I bought candy for the kids and am all ready to go except, I have to get Izzi a costume ...  so, BOO to you too :)  Saturday is Halloween :0   Yea!! or should I say EEEEEEK ...

Wild Bird Wednesday

I took these pictures about two weeks ago when you could still hear the Crane's morning serenade ... it is silent now and I am assuming they have joined the large flocks that migrate together to a warmer climate.  Didn't see any youngsters this year and I hear coyotes in the distance almost every night ... yes, they have a role to play, but I wish they would leave my birds alone :)

I am living in a time of bird famine ... suddenly there are no birds around to take pictures of except the sparrows, of course.  I know they have migrated, but even the finch are gone who usually stay all winter ... do they know something we don't?  Like is this going to be the winter from ... well, you know?  Anyway, Somebody is still eating my bird seed, probably squirrels and Raccoons, but I will just keep putting it our and hoping that the right someones will show up ... hmmmm :(

Last weekend my daughter and I went to Wisconsin just to get away ... a change of scenery.  These pictures were taken at The House On The Rock ... a very special experience which I will cover more as time goes on.  These windows were designed to catch the morning sun and paint their story on the floor.
