Hello ... I am a Purple Finch. I eat at this feeder several times a day. Usually I am here with the Mrs., but today she is home on the nest.
Excuse me while I feak my beak ...
Now, as I was saying. I eat here because I love Black Oil Sunflower seeds and also it is one of the few feeders around here that doesn't get emptied by the squirrels ... though, as you can see, they do try.
Now, if you don't mind, I will get back to my breakfast ...
Have a nice WBW!

He's very handsome!
Wow...such a rich vivid scarlet color on the finch. It's beautiful.
Enjoyed your captioning today also.
Great looking bird! I'm going to be busy for a couple more weeks, which is great! Glad the squirrels don't get all the seeds!

lol, that´s so sweet. :)
What a charmer. Thank you.
Very colorful little guy! We have the House variety at our feeders.
What a pretty finch, lovely photos!
Fabulous purple finch!
Beautiful Finches and I am afraid that if I put any kind of seed out for them, the Raccoon empty me dry even with the largest of baffles...so I am trying to come up with a new game plan.
they're fantastic birds to see; nice that you offer them the treats they need; beautiful photos
I love finches. These are great captures! Your bird photos are always great.
Such a lovely bird, nice that accommodate his feeding wishes.
I've never seen a Purple Finch before. It's funny they call them purple because their feathers are more red then purple. I'm glad this one gets a meal without squirrels bothering it.
Have never seen one of these purple finches before. What a gorgeous bird this is!
Beautiful little finches.
Pretty finch, nice pictures, fun dialogue.
Terrific series on the Purple Finch! We only get to see them during migration and even then only sparingly.
