The corn is knee high by 4th of July ...
(anyone's mouth watering for the picked the same day sweet corn?)
Excuses, Excuses ... I post this picture every Christmas because every Christmas I seem to be overwhelmed with all there is to do to be read...

Hi Andrea. I once grow sweet corn in my green house and I.have. NEVER. Tasted anything as sweet before or after that time
Ah, the corn is as high as an elephants eye!! Beautiful capture for the day! Hope your week is going well, Andrea!!
I can remember picking and shucking corn on my grandparents' farm. Haven't had any since and I really miss it. Nothing compares to fresh, farm-grown food. Yummy!
The corn is grown with tassels in Kansas and Missouri. Amazing. Yum.
Home-grown just about anything beats the alternatives. And corn and tomatoes in particular.
oh Andrea! I am so jealous... there is no corn like that of the midwest. I can jsut taste it, and what a beautiful shot that is. Such a peace in the farmland. You asked me about hipstamatic. yes, it is just an app for the IPHONE. You can choose all sorts of virtual lenses ( alot cheaper than the real ones for sure), and change the color of flash you use, and all sorts of fun VIRTUAL stuff. Maybe you need an IPHONE???? A whole new world... but nothing takes the place of a real camera
lovely depiction of the rural world. completely captures the serenity that abounds there. no wonder the corn tastes so sweet~!
happy WW.

the corn fields around us are about half this height we wait impatiently, nothing better than fresh corn on the cob.
If we're having a corn party can I come?!
