I joined, cause I am a people pleaser! Only kidding.....Your photos are interesting and creative....about the number of followers, what do the numbers really mean....
It will change...sometimes it helps to link up with other blogs, that have weekly posts like Cate's 6WS. Check out the kind of stuff you like, then join them like here and you meet new bloggers and when you visit and they visit, suddenly you just follow each other and the numbers rise!

Actually I don't know how to do that. I am followers on somepeople's blogs but I have no idea of how I got there. I hope one pops up here this morning.
I think my 'follower' icon doesn't fill right. People have asked me how they could be my follower and I DO NOT KNOW. Evidently the button is for 'bloggers on facebook' or the likes.
