We have a huge Carrion Crow visiting our feeding plank on the back fence at the moment. The bluey black sheen on it in the sun is just stunning.
They are supremely intelligent - and wonderful 'family' birds. Love them.
Yes Crows are one of the sm smartest birds Andrea.
They are sort of a nuisance...especially when they get into the garbage. I do like to hear them on fall days though.
I adore crows! My daughter has been trying to make friends with the crows that are nesting around the perimeter of our ten acres by feeding them bread. So far, she hasn't had much luck.
crows are so good to photograph..they often co-operate nicely too!
Hooray someone else who loves crows and feeds them. They are fun to watch. - I enjoyed your photos of them.
crows and their relatives are quite nice birds. But the dark color makes them hard to photograph.
Wonderful photos!
Crows are just great birds - we get small Ravens around our house, and one has a damaged looking wing - I have been trying to get pictures - but with no success.
Not sure if I live in Wonderland, but I will admit to having some rather good birds and other animals about.
The family is well - H just back from a Rubics Cube competition and P is on the trumpet as I type! The holiday down at the coast did us all good.
If you do the Facebook thing you can see some pictures that don't show up on my blog!
