Mandarin Orange Monday

This Thistle flower seemed to have character so I decided to build on it :)

Now, isn't she lovely with her spiked hairdo ...

My Cala Lilies are blooming again and I can't ignor them ...

Orangify and posterize ...

Add texture and then combine the two and this is what I get.  I don't think these come close to my favorites, but not too bad for a lazy Monday :)  Happy MOM!

You ended up finding time after all! And wow, did you do a lot! My favourites are the last one and the second last as well as the third. Thanks Andrea for your encouraging words..you make me blush:) I hope I am making you blush too...because your work is fantastic. Maybe you will win my next challenge? I wont't wait until 200 though:) I hope you got all the things you had to do at home finished and are now relaxing.
And thanks for being an important part of Mandarin Orange Monday:))

Andrea, I like the first three thistle pics the best. I am always amazed at your creativeness. We are having flash flood alerts now, and the skies just started to rumble a bit. Hmmm, mayhaps a little rain is on the way? We could use some. Without the flash flooding of course.

I'm off to the next post. Want to finish my reading before I have to shut off the PC. You have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B,
