Weekend Reflection

An interesting fact popped into my head when I saw this ... an imprinted owl wouldn't recognize himself in a mirror.  He would expect to look like a human, which is why his behavoir would make him a danger to be released ... just sayin'  :)

And some people don't recognise themselves or their behaviours either.
Have a great weekend.

Lovely little interpretation of this interesting picture... But since they are two of them looking at the mirror, perhaps they are looking to each other through the mirror, like LOVE... ^^

Yes, interesting though. Love the reflection! And in response to your comment on mine. Yes, I was grumbling about the car behind me. As if that car didn't have a right to be on the road. ;)

And I'm 'just saying' hi I popped over to say hello and to catch up a bit. You've been busy, sorry I've been slow getting here!
Have a great weekend!

That is why these owls look surprised! Of course, sometimes our interpretations may not be what they really think, because we can never really know. We can't even really know what other humans think. We can only try to put ourselves in another's position, and try to do what is best based upon that.

Interesting. I love the mirror. We used to make some like this in my ceramics classes. I once made a tall floor lamp that would have matched this mirror perfectly. It looked like a tree trunk with a couple owls sitting on a branch. On to the next post. You have a great day. Hugs, Edna B.
