This little Cat Vase sits on the edge of the tub in our Master Bath.  Toward the end of the day, as the sun is setting in the west, the flowers managed to catch the light ...

Sweet cat vase, and I love the way you captured that sunny moment! I'm trying to catch up on my blog reading, and I've been enjoying your photographs!

Oh, this cat vase is just beautiful! I love how the light hits the flowers, but I especially like how the one flower hangs over to hide one of the cat's eyes. Very interesting indeed. My most interesting vases are one teeny tiny little green duck that I found in an antique store years ago, and a plain clear glass salt shaker. These are great if a bud breaks off a plant.

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day, and Pogo and I took advantage of it. We even stopped off at a Burger King for lunch before we came home. Then in the afternoon, Pogo sat on top of the back of my lounge chair to enjoy the warm breezes coming in through the window while I sat in the chair and crocheted. Oh my, life can be so good!

Today the temps have dropped quite a bit so I think we'll stay close to home. I want to finish up the blue afghan so that I can work with some new colors. I also want to get back to finishing the hooded scarf that I started. The pattern on it is a bit difficult, so I tend to put it down. Maybe I'll just start over with a different pattern.

Not much news here these days. I'm hoping Joe will go with me to the garden center so that we can pick up some veggie plants to put in the garden. It's getting a bit late for planting. Now I'm off to find some mischief to get into. You and Izzi have a fabulous day. Hugs, Edna B.
