Mandarin Orange Monday
I found Mortimer at the Botanical Gardens Antique and Flower show ... he seemed very lonely and distraught.
So I took it upon myself to try to find Mortimer a home where he could be happy ...
Nah ...
Nah, Nah ...
Nah, Nah, Nah ...
Hmmmm ... maybe :)
Yes ... Mortimer's happy home ...
Have a wonderful MOM week ...

Love Mortimer's new home - with his flying friends.
Shouldn't Mortimer be in an African river? Perhaps the Nile, or Congo, or the Zambezi River? Just sayin'. Did you purchase him? He is cute!
Andrea, what a delightful series finding Mortimer a happy home. I love it. For a moment there, I thought maybe you were going to find him a "Mrs Mortimer". Your editing is just fabulous. I'm at work, so I'm off to check on the Mrs. You have a great night. Hugs, Edna B.
I love how you work the photos into a story. I don't seem capable of stringing three words together these days. We just walked a presentation on Sixty Minutes about dementia in 90 year olds. I'm usually a late-bloomer, but in this respect I may be ahead of my time!
What a beautiful post...and story! Your work is magical...and very uplifting. I like them all,....but my favourites are the last two...probably the last because you gave him some light:) Thanks for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
I adore Mortimer. And I love your edits too. Great fun!
The final woods are so magical, glowing with heat and warmth, I'm sure he will be very happy there.
Very cute idea -how fun to change the scenery and find him a home- He may need some water after all the warmth of the last two- ;)
What a wonderful Motimer to work with. The images is all very nice. Love especially the last set with the trees and birds. :) Great work IMO!
