Photo Art Friday

Pixel Dust Photo Art

This PSF snuck up on me and I found it was hard to get my brain into creative mode ... Holidays are always hectic for me I guess my next self improvement project needs to be learning to organize.  Anyway, there are many ways I would like to see people open their eyes and minds in these day of economic and political impasse, but I chose to focus on what our future depends on ... Our children.

I wish you all comfort and fulfilment in this Holiday Season ...

I REALLY LOVE your interpretation of this, and children having an open mind is so important to all of our futures and how the world progresses. Something that is very important for parents to try to teach their children. love your photo and your processing on this. Hope that your holiday season is filled with joy and peace! Hugs from Texas

Yes. And a friend sent me a link which said 'educating the mind, without educating the heart is no education at all'. To which I also say YES.

Hard to imagine a more profound application of the theme at PAF. Great processing with textures and the text following the curves in the images. Always a delight to come here, Andrea. You feed our creativity and provoke thought about things that matter.

There's nothing better than seeing a child with a book - it's a gateway to the world.

This is so perfect, Andrea. Books open up such vast worlds and wisdom to us. I love that you used a child in the piece . . . I can't help thinking how different our society might be if children spent more time with the nose in a book. Merry Christmas!

lovely, an open book is often a good thing. Glad it was a book, not a computer.
Wishing you a happy holiday.
