These are not meant to be pictures of either winter or snow, but of something you can't see or touch ... you can only feel .
Can you feel it?
Excuses, Excuses ... I post this picture every Christmas because every Christmas I seem to be overwhelmed with all there is to do to be read...

I like the idea of finding a feeling connected to the images. In these pictures the world feels peaceful, calm, unruffled and a bit mysterious.
I see peaceful and cold. I like the perky little squirrel!
Just beautiful. And blessedly quiet.
Beautiful images from the nature.
Pretty snowy scenes! Andrea, wishing you and your family all the best in 2014, a HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!
I feel the silence and peace that the snow brings. Happy New Year
I wonder what the bird and squirrel are feeling and thinking. It's true that pictures say many things.
I love the squirrel shot.
I agree with Penelope's idea. And I just love that little squirrel. Is he looking for someone? Maybe waiting for his friend? Or is he maybe hiding from a predator? Either way, he is adorable. What a beautiful shot! I also love the frozen drops dripping from the leaves. What a fabulous shot.
Enjoy your peaceful New Years Eve evening. I'll be at work and watching the fireworks on the TV. Today is Joe's birthday, so Pogo will be at home celebrating that with Joe. A good night all around. Happy New Year my friend. Hugs, Edna B.
The quiet of winter, what it's like to be outside, observing, wonderful.
