I would welcome them where ever they chose to sit. Despite their well known incontinence.
This are among the most beautiful ducks. I have twice rescued wood ducks from my fireplace. Thank you for this post.

A very beautiful duck
Those males are so handsome -- I'm sure they know they'll be welcomed home no matter how long they disappear ;>)! (I would so love to see a wood duck -- they simply elude us. We see their houses on both coasts, but just can't ever get a sighting.)
"duck" and "tree" do not seem to be a natural mix! But these are wonderful birds!
WBW 200 is planned - but I have also been caught up in getting ready for another work trip, so I have not had as much time as I would have liked!
