Saturday's Critters

I love Gruyere Cheese, so this Swiss Dairy Cow holds a special place in my heart.  Don't you love the bell?  All of the cows in Switzerland wear bells so if you are out in the country or in the mountains it sounds like music everywhere.

I have videos, but Google wouldn't let me upload them, so I picked one from You Tube so you could hear the bells.  Have a great weekend ...

I love the pretty cow and it is lovely to know about the bells! And to hear them. I love almost every cheese there is and I honor the cows who provide it ;))!

They look so sweet, with lovely faces. I have heard the bells in Austria indeed.

Enjoyed the video! I wonder if these cows ever tire of hearing these bells. Nice looking cow. I don't believe I have ever see this breed before. Thanks for sharing!

Wonder what she is thinking about as she looks round the countryside? Look at those fluffy ears - makes you want to finger them

How nice! I just enjoyed Gruyere cheese today, but did not inquire as to its source. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving meaningful comments.

The cow is beautiful, but those bells surely aren't tinkling sweet music. I wonder, because they are so loud and so many, don't they deafen the cows? I would love a softer bell sound.

Your window reflection is great. I never think to look for them. Actually, I don't get out much with my camera these days. It's usually too cold or wet. I'm counting the days till Spring.

You have a wonderful evening, hugs, Edna B.

That is really fun. My mom has a windchime that sounds a lot like those bells.
