Weekend Reflection

First post of the new year and it is a strange one ... much better if you click to enlarge :)

At some point in time I will explore the history of this building.  I can't help but wonder if the architect intended the glass to distort the reflections or if that is secondary to some other function in the glass ... whatever, the results are mesmerizing.

Ooooooh, I like the cartoonish looking reflections. They have me thinking of that movie "Who Killed Roger Rabbit?" I wonder what causes the distortions, too. I did a quick Google, but didn't find anything short and sweet to explain it. For another day of searching. If I remember.

I suspect that if I looked at it for long I would lose my lunch. Fascinating - but squirm producing too. And no, I am not a good traveller. At all.

Sort of like looking through a kaleidoscope ...slightly

Reality slightly distorted and made more beautiful by the distortion. Kind of like looking through the kind of kaleidoscope that looks at whatever you aim at and changes it into patterns. Love it!

Oh how fascinating. I really like that last shot, very abstract looking reflection.
