We lose so many of the babies to Coyotes that is was a thrill to find a survivor ...

Oh how nice that you could photograph a baby crane! I've never seen one, but this one looks so cute. the other night, I grabbed a quick shot of a large bird flying off in the distance. The photo did not come out so good, but it was definitely a crane of sorts. That's a first for me up in these parts.


Your doggie photos are just wonderful. Gosh, I'll bet Pogo would be thrilled to try something like this. I just don't know if his mom could handle the energy needed to get there and do it. These dogs all look so happy.

Nice little fella! Our front yard "prairie" that used to be visited by Sandhills was turned into a park with manicured lawns while we were away. Bummer!
