A Yard to Die For ...

Some people just have the talent and taste to creat beauty and wonder in their yards.  This is the home of my friend's hair dresser.  I go out in her yard while my friend gets a haircut ... and I am always amazed.  Each time, something different, something new ... more beautiful than before.

Oh wow! What a gorgeous place to be. I wouldn't mind being stranded there with only my dog and my camera for a couple of days. Ooo-wee! Andrea, your photos are wonderful. The creativity here in the gardens in just awesome. I love that old shoe bird house! This post really brightened up my day. I hope your day is just as super!!!

I slept way way late, already have supper cooking, and am looking forward to a nice visit with daughter in law later this afternoon. Pogo and I might go out to do an errand. If not, we'll just stay inside and enjoy the A/C. You and Izzi have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

The little cottage is actually a play house. Her husband, who is a contractor, built it for the kids when they were younger.

Would love a yard like that...but ack...time is not on my side. And then there are bugs. But I do like to be outside, haha. Just not bugged. ;)

It is beautiful. She is so creative, isn't she? Each item that they use is recycled "trash" that she comes across on the road or where ever. Joe is creative, too. He is a carpenter.

Such a beautiful and colorful garden! I know that it requires an lot of tender loving care to achieve such beauty. I loved the old shoe filled with straw and the wheel barrel filled with flowers.
