Wild Bird Wednesday

Red-whiskered Bulbul

How exciting, a Thai bird that I could actually see.  I saw the Bulbul in several parts of Thailand, but this is the one time I had a clear shot of him.  They have a sweet song so you know they are around, but, like I said before, not easily seen.

I cropped this and another shot out so you could get a better look at his red cheek and bum ...  a really pretty bird. about the size of a Red Wing Blackbird.

Nice little bird - they have become established in a few placed in Australia as well. I have finally managed to find some time to work though my blog comments and such like!

Hope all is well.

First, the skylark sings all the time I think but not in snow :)

I have seen different Bulbuls in two countries, Morocco and Japan. But none of them was this beautiful. Yours is gorgeous. :)
