Mandarin Orange Monday

This is a picture I took of my neighbor's Lupine.  They are a gorgeous flower in their own right, but I had to see how they would look as an orange flower ...

All of my edits are in Photo Shop Elements

I used mostly filters that would effect the background then used the mask brush to bring the flowers back out as the main focus.  You can't go too wrong when you are working with Mother Natures beauty ...

Happy MOM Everyone!

They are all lovely - the second one is my favorite. I need to revisit my filters and adding textures again.

Your original photo is so clear and striking against the soft background-really nice. Ilike the 2nd edit best-reminds me of an illustration.

Gorgeous work. Though I think I prefer them naked and unadorned.

The lighting in the first photo looks very artistic too, and I like the outlining in the second edit, like an illustration.
