NF Trees and Bushes

The Red Bud is my all time favorite tree.  It blooms in the spring before it's leaves come out so it has a very oriental look.  This beauty lives in my neigborhood.  I am sure if I went through my files, I would find a picture of this tree for every year that I have lived here.

A little Fresco makes it pop a little more ... Enjoy!

One of the things I miss most about work is seeing the Red Bud tree in the field across the street from the Mrs' house. Oh my, what a beautiful sight each Spring. We don't have one close by, but the cherry tree that we planted was full of blossoms this year. I just did not have a chance to get out and take photos. Next year.

I do have lots of yellow irises that will be blooming soon. These are gorgeous, and will need to be thinned out in the Fall. They spread so. This is good though, because there are a few areas here that could use a bit of color.

Today seems to be my best day yet. It's making me hopeful. Pogo sends big licks and woofs to Izzi. We're thinking of you girl. Now I'm off to check the mail. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Redbuds are one of my favorites also. It provides such a splash of much needed color in the early spring.

Lovely tree! I actually like it when you still can see the branches - for art it gives a more interesting view;0

I never could figure out why it was called a RED BUD. Such pretty pink blossoms.

How absolutely beautiful. I love it - and I too would have photo after photo after photo of it.
