Cat Thursday

I am addicted to taking pictures of Diva.  The angularity and curvature of her body is just extreme enough to make her artistic.   I simply can't resist ...

I am so very, very grateful that you not only don't resist, but that you also share her beauty.

I had fun watching a "teenage" cat playing with the leaves in the wind today.

Part of my time-lapse was very low tech - I put the camera on a tripod, set up the view and pressed the shutter button once every minute for just over an hour! You can do it through the camera, but I forgot how!!! Then H (son, and dubbing AV technician) put all of the images into a video - set then to show for about 1/2 a second each and there we are!

The rest of my week will be good - but it will be tempered by the fact that I found out that I fractured a bone in my ankle last week! I knew I had hurt it, but had to wait until today for the real news - sad face.

Cheers

Stewart, I am so sorry. Ankles are tricky to heal, be sure you take care and follow all of the doctor's instructions (I know you will still find a way to go out and take pictures ... just be careful!) Is your son moving in the direction of a tech career ... he certainly has a talent. Loved the time-lapse. Be well ...

Most of my pictures of Diva are in the sunlight because it seems to accentuate her angles and her beautiful eyes ... hard to believe that she is our Devil Child when you look at her pictures :)

Diva spends a lot of time sunbathing ... and I can't pass up taking her picture when she does ... just something about her.
Thanks, Jeanne ...

I know you miss Sam ... He was such a cutie. In time maybe you will find another furbaby to fill that hole ... Sam would want you to. He would want you to be happy ...

Thank you, I will tell her you think so ... I often wonder if it is her orneriness coming through that makes her so photogenic.

Great shot. They really get into some interesting poses don't they?

You have a very photogenic model there, Andrea. But I think the gorgeous pictures have a lot to do with the great photographer too. =O)

I'm glad to see you back. Are you able to get on my blog now? I don't know what the problem was. Browsers are so weird. I'll be in the middle of doing work and Google Chrome will not let me do a simple thing (like add a reminder in a yahoo calendar) so I have to access it via Firefox. Such a pain!
