Link to Paying Ready Attention ...
Imagine my thrill yesterday when I looked out my window to find that Mrs. Mallard had arrived with 10 little Mallards ...
The heroic part of this story is the huge hill and stairs these little guys have to climb and descend to make this visit to my tree ...
And off they go ... hopefully the first of many visits to the duckie food tree ...

Well that's just ducky!
Oh Andrea, these are so precious. I am never at the park at the right time to see the baby ducks. I think maybe today Pogo and I will take a ride to the park to see if there are any new little ones.
This is one of the reasons that I have always wanted to live on a pond. You are privileged to see so many different birds and sometimes wildlife.
You have a wonderful day. Hugs, Edna B.
Hilarious!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
It's a great time of the year to watch the mothers with their young offspring.
Nice post for WBW!
Well done!
ohhhhhhhhhhhhh wonderful. I especially like the one with just the tops of their heads showing - so clever. They are all wonderful.
So very cute! It'll be fun watching them grow!
This post and photos -- incredible!!
How cool to have them that close! Wonderful photos!
Wonderful images to see...So so cute.
Great photos - those little ones would have to be strong to climb up and down like that.
Cute shots of the duck family. The ducklings are cuties! Great post!
may the numbers stay the same to adulthood; beautiful ducklings...
Ooooh. Hooray for Mrs Mallard and her huge (and very cute family) and to you for bringing them to us.
She must be an exceptional parent (or the season is really good, or both) to raise a brood that large.
I hope they all come back as they do in the 10 little ducks rhyme.
This pictures are beautiful!
Visit unec at the university of Nigeria
Adorable! Now to make sure Izzi doesn't chase them out of her yard!
