Photo Art Friday

Pixel Dust Photo Art

The first group of pictures were done with only the pdpa textures and filters ...

Then Bonnie said ... "you can use  your photo's" so that changed my whole approach.  It did, however, hinder my ability to create abstract ... I seem to need to lean toward realism, when reality is involved.  I am still working on being able to stretch my imagination in this direction :)

Andrea these are all very creative! I love the ones that you did using just the textures! So colorful and very unique. I also love your dogs, and especially the first one. Can't put my finger on why I like the first one the best, but think it has something to do with the eyes. Great job, and also thank you once again, for your sweet comment on my blog. hugs from Texas

Very creative. I also liked the ones you did using just the textures and the Lily shot was pretty cool as well. Awesome job with this challenge.

Very interesting. I know you like playing with art, so this is a great place to share what you do.

such an extraordinary body of work this week, Andrea!! I love your just textures and filters, each and every one, and the others are wondrous as well.

I have a similar puzzling with combining my photos and textures. if I fiddle long enough I can usually make it work, but I am finding that it doesn't "need to" really "look like" a photo + textures.

the thing I take away from my visit this morning is JOY and deLIGHT at the magic you're sharing.

BEautimous energy!!

so hard to break away from what we know and see as real - but you managed it. I like the raised pixellated image immensely

These are just stunning! I love the abstract images you have created. I've been having a lull in wanting to play with my photoshop and maybe this will pull me back.

Wow! Beautiful images! I like the 4th one down the best I think. It reminds me of old fashioned hooked rugs. Then again, I love the colors in the fifth one. I think the one with the flower is stunning. Pogo and i both like the doggie ones, the first one the best. You have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B.

Oh my Andrea ... you are having way too much fun with all your talent!!! ;) Just amazing work. I have to scroll back to enjoy and pick out a few favs. Back in a minute ...

LOVE the 3-image purple hair; and the first one could hang in a professional gallery as far as I'm concerned.

Bravo!

I agree with Bonnie . . that first shot could be/should be hanging in a brick and mortar gallery. It is stunning! Such a fun array of pieces here, Andrea.
