This was a picture of a piece of lace that I colored with orange then added the sunflowers for a focal point. Each is only subtly different from the other.
This is my favorite. I really enjoyed creating "Sir Chicken". He is, in real life, a less ornate metal sculpture that is sitting in the feed store where I buy my bird seed. I couldn't pass him up. Kudos to the artist ...

Great colours, happy MOM to you!
lovely patterns and colour and your chook is beyond cute.
Such a cute chicken that is!
Now THAT is a funky chicken!
I love the paisley lace, but that chicken is a joy and a delight. Thank you.
I think I would have purchased Sir Chicken as well!

I love your beautiful print. But oh boy, that is one gorgeous chicken!! I'll have to show him to my daughter Audrey. She just loves chickens.
Your zentangle is amazing. It's even better with the colors added. One of these days, maybe I'll try this too.
Now it's time to wake up Audrey. I'm in a hurry to get started on this day. You have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B.
Beautiful work! Happy MOM!
I'd also like to invite you to join Orange You Glad It's Friday. It's an Orange meme too and starting March 11, I will be hosting it at Life's sweets and spices. Hope to see you there.
Thanks Andrea:)
I really like the way you developed the lace pattern-the colour is beautiful and the light radiating from the sunflowers gives it real warmth.
