Wild Bird Wednesday

Wild Bird Wednesday # 67
The bird populations around here at this time of year are slim pickin's so I decided to just take some pictures of a cool fall morning on my lake.
Pay no attention to all of the droppings :(

Can you feel how cool it is?  It seems early ... we were in the 20's last night.  I'm just not ready for this ...

Hope wherever you are, you have a nice warm, comfortable WBW day ...

  1. That's the big problem with ducks and jetties... the droppings.

  12. What great photos, Andrea. It makes me wish I lived on a lake or pond. I would love to look out my window and enjoy watching the ducks and swans, etc while I enjoy my morning coffee. To me this is luxury. My internet explorer is finally fixed (thanks to Wayne) and I'm a much happier camper tonight. Tomorrow I'm hoping to order my next two blog books. Woo Hoo. You have a fabulous evening my friend. Hugs, Edna B.

  13. Andrea these shots are really amazing! I love them. I guess these are geese??? Well the one with his wings spread out to fly is wonderful. Looks like a great place to walk, and also to see these beautiful birds!

    1. No geese ... swans and ducks flying. It is hard to tell because the sun was just rising in the east, so I was only able to get silhouetfes. Thanks for stopping by, Jeanne. I have been reading your blog and will be commenting when I have time ... soon :)
