Haunting, cool shot .... today is our big day of heat, fingers crossed the bush fires don't take hold again amongst our trees.

This is a really pretty image. Yes it is cold, but there is still so much beauty in it. It sort of feels like it feels here. My whole driveway/parking lot is covered with ice. We put melting stuff down, but then overnite it all freezes again. Ah well, Spring isn't very far away.

Pogo and I will be staying in tomorrow night and watching the fireworks displays on TV. I'm too old to stand out in the cold with thousands of other folks to see the New Year in. I'm okay with snuggling in my fuzzy blanket (Pogo too) and watching it all happen on the TV.
