Nature Footstep ... Catching the Light

Doodle lights :)
My neighbors have a maple tree beside their garage and every year they hang this string of lights on it.  I call it my doodle lights because from every angle there is another set of doodle characters to be found.  I am sure they don't put them up there for my entertainment, but I find it to be great fun while I am out walking Izzi.

So ... do you see what I see?

Merry Christmas Everyone

The lighting effects are very open for interpretation. I see a dog and Santa Claus.

It reminds me of the old Etch-a-sketch.

My first thought was I see a rocking horse. But then the longer you look, you can see so many more different things. I never thought to photo these trees and then try to figure out what they might look like. Good job Andrea!!

I have not gone out looking for lights to photograph this year. Maybe next year. The good part about working is that you have to leave the house whether or not you want to. Retirement has made me quite lazy about going out. I'll have to work on that in the new year.

I was going to wrap that large box that Santa dropped off for Pogo so that I could bring it into the living room but I think instead I just might wait and set it up tomorrow night, Christmas Eve.

I thought that most all of the dwarfs were going to spend Christmas day with their families, but now a few of them are re-thinking their plans. Dwarf Helen has announced that she will be cooking a lasagna dinner for everyone. I think that's what made some of the dwarfs to change their plans. Funny how food can have this effect on guys.

I haven't yet decided what to make for Pogo and me, but I'll figure that out this morning, and make a quick run to the market. Right now, I think I'll head for the kitchen and rustle up some breakfast for my little guy. You and Izzi have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

That sounds like fun.
I'm sure we all see different things there.
I hope you had a good Christmas. Belated wishes, Andrea.
