Good Fences

This is Izzi's good friend Woody who lives in the neighborhood. They used to run back and forth along the chain link fence that was here before, but Woody also liked chasing cars along the same fence.  He was inside so he wasn't in any danger, but he wore a path in the yard and ran down all of the shrubs that were planted there.  Thus, a new fence was put in.  Now this is the only way Woody and Izzi can communicate with each other :)
So, Happy Good Fences everyone ...

Hmmm. I'm thinking a lower level of lattice or at least plexiglass windows would be nice for the neighboring dogs to see each other.

This is a nice looking fence. I must say though, that it does give the doggies a good work out when they are trying to chat over the fence. Yesterday we went shopping to look at fencing for the front portion of my yard. We can't really buy any yet until we see if the ground is "diggable" for the end posts. That area of my yard has a lot of rock beneath the dirt. I want to plant grass in that area too, so I guess we'll also have to bring in a truck load of dirt. I guess I'll have to call "dig safe" too. Thank good ness I saw a reminder about that on TV because I had completely forgotten about it.

Well, Pogo and I have some errands to do before the morning is gone, so you and Izzi have a wonderful day. Hugs, Edna B.

Poor Izzy can not see Woody thru this fence! Cute shot of the pup at the fence!

Oh I live Woody's ears!!! You can see how exciting he is! Good thing that the fence is not too high for him!

No fence too high to keep friends from communicating. Love it. And particularly love those dancing ears...

This is the cutest capture ever . I love it, and think you must have a very fast trigger finger to have captured this

That's Woody, all right. Dogs do make paths, just like everyone else. Feet tend to do that. Just sayin'...

fun shot!! Stewie's "cousin" Ace, a border collie, completely wore down the grass etc in his yard by the chain link fence too. Now his mom has to put in patio stones costing big bucks!

Love it! It made me laugh. I can just imagine that dog wearing a hole in the ground now from jumping up and down in the same spot.
