Beautiful. Everyone(at least those I've seen so far) has such lovely colors this week.
yup- I see the hairdo!!
Hmmm, very interesting indeed. I love the colors and swirls, but I'm trying to figure how Elvis fits in here. I've never met a flower named Elvis.
It's raining here, but not heavy. Our lawns and gardens need the water, and it has lowered the temps a bit. It's a good day to have to doors and windows open. Plus it's a good day for doing household chores. I've started checking my mailer box supply to see if I have what I need for my holiday mailings. I thought I had enough packing tape, but I'd better put it on my shopping list. I don't like to run out of that.
I've been waiting for a box of yarn that I ordered to arrive, but an email this morning tells me it won't be here until late Friday. Waiting for packages to arrive tests my patience. I'm like a little kid - I want everything to arrive yesterday.
There are flash flood warnings being displayed on the TV now. We are expecting moderate to heavy rain, flooding and heavy winds. They have listed all the towns that surround us, but not our town - yet. We'll just have to wait and see what's in store for us.
It's getting close to your trip time. I imagine all those last minute things are keeping you quite busy. There's always so much to do before one can leave for vacation. Don't overdo, and rest in between chores. It's going to be a super fun trip.
Now I have to figure out what to make for lunch. Pogo wasn't too thrilled about his breakfast (doggie food), so I'll have to think up something tasty for lunch. You and Izzi have a fabulous day. Hugs, Edna B.
A canna as I have never seen it. Beautiful.
Hi Andrea:) What you have done here is beautiful.. i love the way it swishes up and then sort of explodes (nice explosion of colour).
Even better than Elvis, I see a bird. I do, however, think this is a nice, colourful tribute to Elvis. Good timing, too. He died August 16, 1977.
