Oh how wonderful! We don't have any cranes in our area. Goodness, how long does it take to clean a camera? I will be having to put my camera in the shop soon for a cleaning. Maybe one of my lenses too.
I use my phone for a lot of my photos because it is very convenient. One of these days I'd like to go to the park and set up my tripod with my big lens to see how those photos come out. Hmmm, I guess just making it to the park is an accomplishment in itself. haha.
Pogo sends woofs for Izzi. You have a wonderful day my friend. Hugs, Edna B.
Such a green and beautiful spot.
And your camera photos are better than any I have achieved.
Hope your camera comes home soon though.
Hope your camera is fixed soon. These shots are great as well!

your cranes has chosen a very beautiful place :)
I'd love to see some cranes - and I have some chance that I will by the end of the year - so, fingers crossed.
The Magpie Robin does look a bit like a UK robin in shape (the US robins don't look like the UK ones) and the magpie comes from the bird being black and white. We have a number of black and white birds in Australia that are called '"Magpie ....somethings" as well.
