Don't get me wrong.  I love my phone camera and it does take great pictures, just not of birds.  I need to be able to zoom in on a bird to get decent detail and though (yes, I have a little tiny phone camera zoom lens) it is possible to use a zoom on my phone, by the time I get it out, attach it and focus, the birds are long gone ... and to be honest it isn't convenient to keep the lens attached because then my phone doesn't fit in my pocket.  Life sure is hard sometimes ... I hope I get my camera back soon :(

Now is not the time to tire of politics.  Our elections were tampered with by a foreign country, the Congress seems uninterested in getting to the bottom of it and our Democracy is now clearly an Oligarchy being run by a Despot.  Now is the time to Resist ... we want our democracy back,  the wealth of this great country shared by all, not the wealthy few, the preservation of the rights we were granted in our constitution, truth reported by our media and acknowledged by our political leaders and a commitment to address the issues of Climate Change.  We want to be Great again, but to do it the right way ... by leading with honesty, compassion and the strength of our commitment to peace and properity.

We still see an occasional flock of migrating water birds, but now it seems like the Passerines are more likely visitors.  An occasional Eagle flies by, but as the boating is starting to pick up, they will go elsewhere to fish.  I still have pictures of more water birds and am short on pictures of the Passerines because my camera is in the shop.  Anyone who has had to have their camera in the shop knows that it always takes weeks to get it back, so I am grounded for the time being.
