Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Cold Moon

Cold Moon

I guess, having worked with owls for 16 years, what comes to mind when we talk about the moon are the beautiful owls that use the moon for their light at night.   Some of these pictures you have seen before, others are new :)  So Let's do it, my friends.  Let's make 2021 the year that we all found our way back to "normal" ... or better yet, happy, comfortable, positive "normal" :)  Happy New Year to all of you ...

Andrea, I have to agree with Christine, these are stunning. Yes, I think of the Owl and the moon on a cold night. Wishing you all the very best for 2021 my friend.

Your art is magical, Andrea. It is amazing. You have a way with great paintings and visuals. I love that you also include owls with your moon paintings. I hope you have a fabulous, safe, healthy new year, too, dear.

Happy New Year Andrea!! xx :)))
I love your Moon art! And the owls are so pretty, the last one is my favourite! It's very cute!! :) Btw...how on earth do you get hummingbirds to feed from your hand? What kind of seed to they like, or is it seed? Next time you visit my blog, if you have a moment, can you let me know? We get hummingbirds here in the summer around the maple tree where I hang the feeders and I'd love to have them feed from my hand!! :)

Hi Andrea, your first Cold Moon piece made me think of Japan. Early mornings in first light we saw the cranes flying in front of the moon. Quite a spectacular sight I will never forget.
Second favorite is the last one. The expression on that owls face is incredible. Love it!
Thanks for the nice comment on my post. And you are right. You can fidn a lot in those images. In Chaos ther is an eye in the center of the image. I did not see it until I looked at the photo of the painting.
Yes, I hope this new year will be a better one. I think it has to!
Take care. And a distant hug from me.

Andrea,

Your painting are fabulous! I love it when I see something that inspires me. Your owl and moon painting is something I want to try to out for a spin. Christine inspired me, as well. I did another cold full moon illustration and I shared it in my Friday Sillies post. Whenever I share whatever I create then I'll be sure to credit you for sparking my imagination. ;) I hope you and your family have a wonderful 2021, my dear! {{hugs}}
