Wild Bird Wednesday

Broad Wing Hawk
This is a new bird at  Wings and Talons.  His home is at the Springbrook Nature Center which is where I learned how to handle and rehab raptors many years ago.  They are now housing some of our birds and I am once again going each Wednesday to take care of and enjoy the birds that are there.

He is a young bird and just beginning to step up to the glove.  He seems quite comfortable around people which will make him an excellent education bird.

I am still using my cell phone for pictures so I am resorting to whatever I can get for WBW ... Hopefully that will be resolved soon. :(

I really like seeing birds of prey up close - they are wonderful.

Lets hope the election result in the UK is the start of something new and better.
