Through My Lens

James Bond Island Day Trip
Island skipping off of Phuket in
the Andaman Sea
Our guide was a gracious host and and full of fun.  He had the answers to all of our questions and then some ...
The walk to our boat ...

Our Boat ...

Panak Island ... we rode along the edges of this island to see the unique look of the limestone karsts all along the shore..

Note the beautiful aqua color of the water ... another piece of paradise ...

Khao Ping Kan Island surrounds the bay where James Bond Island is located ...

There are shops, of course ...

and the James Bond Island ... a unique rock formation that was featured in a James Bond 007 Movie ...

Back on the boat and off to Hong Island in Phang Nga Bay ...

Where we went sea canoeing ... there were two of us in each canoe and one guide.

The entrance to a lagoon ...

oooo ... dark

 The Mangrove forests ...

And, oh what fun we had ...

Then back to our boat and ...

Off to the floating Village run by a group of Muslims where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch ...

 Sea Eagles flew above ...

And the crows kept their distance ...

Our last stop ... our own private beach on Naka Island ...

Not sure what this bird is ... he is big and black, but doesn't look like a crow (I'm open to suggestions) ...

 Fresh Coconut Milk :)

Pineapple drinks ...

And back on the boat to return to Phuket ...

Then back to Patong Beach and the hotel for another beautiful sunset ...

A big yacht off in the distance ... Oh my, must be one of the 1 percenters :(

WOW! What an adventure. I would have loved the canoe, well everything really. that bird looks like a Chough(probably isn't as i am sure they are not there) I say Chough becasue of his red feet adn down turned red bill.
