Wild Bird Wednesday

The Blue Jay

Turning blue from the cold?  No, these birds are so hardy and active it is amazing.  Nothing seems to slow them down.  This winter is really putting them to the test, however.  We continue to have sub-zero temperature and there is no end in sight.  Normal temps for this time of year is in the high 30's.  I vote we get back to normal.  Even the high 30's sounds good to me at this point.  :)

Happy WBW!

Andrea

they're such beauties, yet we tend to take them for granted. :)

Birds always seem too delicate to be out in the frigid weather, but it appears they are well suited for the challenge.
