Didn't have a lot of time to experiment this weekend, but I had just taken a picture of this gorgeous Dahlia in a planter on my deck ... Perfectly MOM, don't you think?

Fantastic macro shot and vibrant colour. I like 1st shot best, the 2nd one looks like it has net in front of it and detracts from the beauty of the flower.
